On Monday, 13th June, Tony King came to meet carers at their monthly Carers United meeting, held at Bexley Mencap’s offices in Church Road, Bexleyheath.  Tony, who is the Learning Disability Social Work Team Manager spoke about the work of his team, how to access services and ways that the service will be improved in the future.  Tony stayed and answered questions from carers, including how to get a social worker and the role of the Duty Social Work service and agreed to come back to a future meeting once the Council’s reorganisation had been completed.
