Looking After Your Eyes

Some members from our self advocacy group, Respect in Bexley, had some training sessions with Steven Kill, the National Manager, and Scott Watkin, the Eye Care & Vision Development Officer, from SeeAbility. The training is called "Opening Eyes".  So our members are now accredited to train people about good eye care, and are now part of the Peer Educator Network.  SeeAbility have given us the equipment to help us deliver the training. They also support our group and we feedback after we have delivered each session.  So far, we have trained people at Day Centres, Re-Instate, at Bexley's Big Health Day and Carers.
