New Carers Information Hub!

Do you look after, or are an unpaid carer for, someone with a learning disability in Bexley?

From Thursday 21 April a new free weekly information session for unpaid carers will be held in the Central Library, Bexleyheath, every Thursday from 1.00pm – 3.00pm.

You may have questions about benefits, or where to access support and services, or perhaps you are just not sure where to start. All unpaid carers are welcome, even if you are not sure you are a carer. No need to book, just pop along, we’d love to see you.

The information hub is run by local charities including Carers Support and Bexley Mencap. We will be in the main Library space but also have a private room to talk in if you would prefer this.

Bexley Mencap will be at the hub on these dates:

  • 21st April
  • 12th May
  • 26th May
  • 9th June
  • 23rd June
  • 7th July
  • 28th July

There will be other charities at the hub every week including Carers Support Bexley, Bexley Voice, Bexley SNAP, Alzheimer’s UK Bexley and Headway.
